We know a lot about PPC and SEO, and how to make clients win big with those is well-known, so going off the edge in to the "I hope this works" space is the big challenge.

Also, I am building a client services team from scratch to handle our internet marketing agency's growth, so finding talented people I can count on is a big goal.

Re: How Are YOU Going to Embrace New Marketing in 2007?

I plan to increase the listeners of our podcast, Two Boobs and a Baby. I also hope to create my own personal podcast, that will be based around new media marketing.

I have a wealth of knowledge in marketing and promotions, and a rich history from BBSing to Web Design. I've worked in live theatre, print, radio, and television.

I think 2007 is going to be incredible. Now, I just need complete this pesky green card application! Sigh.

Cheers,
Dave

Re: How Are YOU Going to Embrace New Marketing in 2007?

My goal is to step out of my comfort zone and make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. I just started listening to an audio book "Blown to Bits: How the new economics of information transforms strategy" by Philip Evans and Thomas Wurster- This is a keystone, I think, for the new year- how to look at economic and market fundamentals to help businesses succeed in a rapidly changing marketplace- This is the year to find a flexible business paradigm for new media companies, and assert our value. The core questions are going to be brand management and what can be bundled or unbundled from traditional business lines and succeed? At the core, however, is that information and originality with passion will triumph long term over the "flash" and hype. Let's hope the money pouring into the space doesn't lead to bubble and bust very soon- we have to keep the silly ideas at bay and keep value add at the top of the list.

Re: How Are YOU Going to Embrace New Marketing in 2007?

Not a goal, but I do have a theme for 2007 for myself, personally - “On Ko Chi Shin”, which roughly translates as “Study something old to learn something new”. This year I’ll be focusing on improving the reach of my personal network, learning more about video on the Internet, and mastering the Heart Sutra for my Buddhist practice.

Re: How Are YOU Going to Embrace New Marketing in 2007?

As a company we are looking to branch our brand into the social media space. our website is going to have an overhaul this month.
